Voice-Controlled Do Payments

The Accounts payment window can be operated with short voice commands. Open Do Payments, speak an account number, confirm it with Enter, speak the amount paid, and confirm again with Enter. The user can check or correct each number before continuing.

How to Use Voice-Controlled Payments

A simple voice sequence keeps payment entry quick while still allowing verification.

1

Start Voice Control

Click the microphone once to start listening. It remains active until you click it again.

2

Open Do Payments

Say “Payment” or another supported payment phrase to open the payment window.

3

Speak and Check

Speak the account number or amount. Check the displayed value before saying Enter.

4

Confirm with Enter

Say “Enter” only after the displayed value is correct. The payment process then continues.

Enter is deliberately required. Speaking a number only places it in the current box. Nothing is confirmed until the user says “Enter”, giving time to notice and correct a wrongly recognized number.

Open the Do Payments Window

Use any of these phrases to begin payment entry.

Do Payments Opens payment entry

Opens the same Do Payments window used for normal payment entry and places the user at the Account Number box ready to speak a number.

Do Payment Do Payments Payment Payments Do Pay Make Payment Make A Payment
Close Payment Window Closes payment entry

When the Do Payments window is open, say “Close” to close it without continuing with the current payment entry.

Speak the Account Number

The first payment box accepts numeric voice entry.

Say the account number, check it, then say Enter

After the payment window opens, the Account Number box is ready for voice entry. Speak the required number. The recognized number remains selected so it can easily be replaced if it is not correct.

Say: “22”
Screen shows: 22
If correct, say: “Enter”
The account is found and the Amount Paid box becomes ready.
If the number is wrong, simply speak the correct number before saying Enter. For example, if you intended account 23 but the screen shows 22, say “23”. The selected value is replaced. Then say “Enter” only after you have checked it.

Speak the Amount Paid

The second payment box also accepts numeric voice entry.

Speak the amount, verify it, then confirm with Enter

After the account is accepted, the Amount Paid box becomes active. Speak the payment amount and check the value displayed on the screen before confirming it.

Say: “2500”
Screen shows: 2500
If correct, say: “Enter”
The normal payment processing linked with the Amount Paid box is performed.
Always check the amount before saying Enter. If the amount is heard incorrectly, speak the correct amount again. The payment is not confirmed merely because a number was spoken.

Ways to Speak Numbers

Numbers can be spoken naturally in several convenient forms.

Speak the Number Normally Fastest method

For short account numbers or payment amounts, simply say the complete number.

22 2500 5000
Speak Individual Digits Useful alternative

You can speak digits separately when that is clearer for recognition.

Two Two Two Five Zero Zero
Speak the Amount in Words Natural speech

Payment amounts can also be spoken naturally as a whole number.

Two Thousand Five Hundred
Numbers Only Prevents text entry

Account Number and Amount Paid are intended for numeric voice entry. Ordinary words that do not represent numbers are not entered into these boxes.

The Enter Voice Command

Enter confirms the value currently displayed in the active payment box.

Confirm Current Value Continues payment

Say Enter after checking the current Account Number or Amount Paid. It performs the same next action normally associated with confirming that active box.

Enter
Number + Enter Optional faster method

When the user is confident of the number being spoken, the value and Enter can be spoken together as one phrase. Enter is still explicitly part of the command.

22 Enter 2500 Enter
Use the separate Enter method when verification is important. “22” followed by “Enter” gives you time to check the account number. “22 Enter” is faster, but should be used only when you are comfortable confirming the recognized value immediately.

Complete Voice Payment Example

A normal payment can be completed with a short and easy sequence.

Click the microphone once to start voice control
Say: “Payment”
Say account number: “22”
Check that the screen shows: 22
Say: “Enter”
Wait for the account to load and the Amount Paid box to become active
Say amount: “2500”
Check that the screen shows: 2500
Say: “Enter”
The payment is processed and the Account Number box is ready for the next entry

Entering the Next Payment

Continue with the next account without reopening the payment window.

Continue account by account

After a payment is completed, the Account Number box becomes ready again. Speak the next account number, verify it, say Enter, then speak the next amount and say Enter again.

First payment: 22 → Enter → 2500 → Enter
Next payment: 35 → Enter → 1800 → Enter
Next payment: 41 → Enter → 3000 → Enter

Tips for Efficient Payment Entry

A few simple habits make voice payment entry faster and safer.

Look Before Enter

Check the displayed Account Number and Amount Paid before saying Enter. This gives you the opportunity to correct a recognition mistake.

Repeat to Correct

If the wrong number appears, speak the correct number again. There is no need to confirm the incorrect value first.

Speak Clearly

Short, clear numeric phrases such as “22” and “2500” are ideal for fast payment entry.

Use Fast Entry When Appropriate

“22 Enter” or “2500 Enter” reduces waiting between separate voice commands. Use the separate number and Enter method whenever you want to verify first.
