This Privacy Policy applies to the PK Parents mobile application (package name: com.panrum.pkparents), developed and published by Panrum on Google Play.
PK Parents is a secure parent companion app for schools connected with the Panrum Systemized Hybrid Platform. It enables authorized parents and guardians to access their child’s biodata, homework, attendance, examination records, and fee/account information directly from the school’s database.
The app retrieves student information only from the school’s management system after a verified login. This may include:
No additional personal or sensitive data is collected by Panrum. Access requires secure credentials provided by the educational institution.
The app uses push notifications to deliver important school updates such as attendance alerts, homework notices, exam results, and administrative announcements.
To enable this service, the app processes a device notification token and a unique device identifier. These are used strictly for message delivery, system integrity, and service reliability and are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising purposes.
Some temporary session information may be stored locally on the device to enhance performance and usability. The app does not store contact lists, photos, biometric data, personal documents, or financial credentials on the device.
PK Parents uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies in accordance with Google’s advertising policies.
Users may manage ad personalization preferences through their Google Account Ad Settings.
Panrum does not access, store, or control advertising data collected by Google.
All communication between the app and school servers is protected using secure, encrypted protocols. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are maintained to protect all information against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
Student information is retained only for as long as required by the associated educational institution. Parents and guardians may request correction or removal of their child’s information directly from the school administration. Panrum does not independently retain student records beyond operational requirements.
PK Parents complies with all applicable child data protection regulations, including COPPA and Google Play Families policies.
The app is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. It does not allow children to create accounts, submit personal information, or interact independently with the service.
All student data is provided solely by authorized educational institutions and is displayed exclusively for parental supervision and academic monitoring purposes.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements or service features. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised effective date.
